ACP Marketing was incorporated in Canada in 1994.
It has two subsidiaries -ACP Marketing USA and ACP Marketing UK -and
a controlling interest in another two companies - AccesRail, providing
rail distribution through the airline Global Distribution Systems
(GDS), and ACP Secrets Holidays, a rail-based tour operator.
Since 2000, ACP Marketing holds the Association of Train Operating
Companies (ATOC) exclusive franchise for the distribution of the BritRail
product line in all world markets.
The founder and President, Alex Popescu, is well-known in the travel industry for his rail marketing experience. He is supported by the vice president of sales and Director of AccessRail, Denis Grenier, Tim Roebuck, the Vice-President of Strategic Planning, and Anthony Gay, Vice-President International Relations based in the UK. Alex, Denis, Tim and Anthony are career railwaymen, who have held senior marketing positions within British Rail or VIA Rail in Canada, and are widely respected throughout the USA, Europe and Asia.
The World Headquarters of ACP Marketing is located in Montreal, Canada and there is a Regional Office in London. The sales force is based in the field in key markets -North America, Europe and Australasia.
The continuously expanding ACP Marketing product portfolio currently
includes BritRail (sole worldwide distributor), Sweden Rail (sole overseas
distributor for SJ), Eurail, Norwegian Rail (NSB) and leading European
rail passes including Austrian Rail (OBB), RENFE (Spanish National Railway Network), Hellenic Rail, Iberian Rail
and Scan Rail. In addition to these, ACP Marketing has agreements to
sell a number of complementary products with the objective of being
a one-stop-shop for tourists. Further major European rail networks
are planning to outsource their global sales and marketing with ACP
Marketing over the next year.

network in existing markets and to expand into new markets. This offers
